Introduction: We are seeking a skilled PHP developer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a PHP developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using PHP programming language and MySQL/MariaDB databases. You will work closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain object-oriented PHP applications.
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  • Develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and support front-end developers by integrating their work with the application.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications.
  • Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven work experience as a PHP developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with RESTful web services and API integration.
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
